What's in YOUR Soil?

Simple Soil Survey

You're Email (we are a simple company, we do not sell data collected on this site):

1) Has your soil been treated with chemical fertilizers? (example: chemical form of NPK (nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium)

2) Has your soil been treated with chemical biocides (pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, etc.) during the last 5 years?

3) Have you tilled the soil during the past 5 years?

4)  Has your soil been used as "pasture" in the last 5 years by ruminants or other grazing animals or birds?

5)  Does the grazing pastures appear stressed or has more weeds than good pasture?

6)  Does the vegetation (trees, shrubs, plants) living in your soil show signs of pest pressure (intermittent or continual influx of insects)?

7)  Does the vegetation living in your soil show signs of nutritional deficiencies (poor "vigor", yellowing or purpling leaves, older leaves or buds die off while new shoots are greening)?

8)  Is your "Soil" spongy, full of healthy signs of life?

9)  Is your "Soil" showing signs of erosion?

10)  Does your "soil" have more of a 'foul' smell instead of earthy?

11) Is your "Soil" mainly compost (store bought or diy)?

Your Soil Shows Signs of Biological Suppression

Regardless of region, Biological Suppression is caused by current or past use of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and chemically treated water.

Regardless of the amount of positive inputs, without remediating the "past", the regenerative soil protocols will be suppressed along with the current biology of your soil.

The great news for you, this can be remediated with the appropriate biological and vegetative solutions! Halting the chemical additives followed up with Phyto-remediation and / or Bio-remediation will begin your soil's ability to regenerate. But don't take our word for it! Many backyard garden enthusiasts,

Market Gardners, and large agricultural productive farms are seeing their dieing to dead soils revitalize and regenerate with Regenerative Practices! There's hope. Adding the appropriate  inoculants with specific mycorrhizal fungi paired with microbes, will target toxins. Targeted toxins become inert to the vegetation, leaving the vegetation safe to express its natural state!  Following up with vegetative supportive biological inoculants and  amendments will regenerate your soil meaning restoring the natural state of the soil for future success and possibilist of your restored space!

Options vary by soil type and desired goals of your space.

Your Soil Shows Signs of Biological Imbalance

Biological Imbalances are caused by over application of inputs. Even if the inputs are known to be beneficial, many times, more is not the best practice. Animals, whether chicken, bovine, or pig, have the ability to over graze, create parasitic environmental habitats, and become stressed. Combined with environmental conditions, too much "weather" will cause a biological imbalance.

Parasitic microbes live happily along side beneficial microbes.

Parasitic microbes are a necessary component of the natural cycle. However, if there is visible pest pressure on the vegetation, animals in confined spaces are breeding grounds for parasitic over abundance. If you have just a few chickens in a confined space and not allowed to express their 'chickenness" then there will be an abundance of parasitic biology.

Nature wants to bring balance, the only way to do this is to call in the troops which remove the unnecessary biology. When the geology of the area in question lacks sufficient nutrients or amendments, then a dominate species rises to the top and predates on what it can find for its nutrition. Unfortunately, this could be your prized dalia's or your 5 acre vineyard. The vegetation is sending out a signal to the "clean up" crew , the "clean up" crew (parasites) come in and happily do their jobs.

This is the way of the Amazing cycle of Nature! All is not lost, perhaps your dalhia this year, however, you can assist nature. With the appropriate mycorrhizal and microbial inoculants, you can achieve balance of biology! You can do this in a year or less! Diligence and understanding of your region will be key.

Success of your soil lies in your hands, you can do this! It's easier than before with so many people now practicing regenerative techniques.

Options vary by soil type and desired goals of your space.

Your Soil Is Healthy—With Room to Optimize

Congratulations! You have done very well with working with nature.  WELL DONE!!

You may not know it, but you are growing microbes and supportive fungi, not plants. Plants which you grow benefit from your microbial and fungal colonies.

Plants, flowers, and trees depend on what's  in the soil. Soil is full of billions of biology functioning in a world we are now gaining more understanding of the complex interaction between our own actions and what the actual needs are. Having minimized but optimal inputs would be your best option.

Creating an environment which you nurture without labor intensive diligence is rewarding. Having a balance of biology, minerals, and minimum soil disturbance is the ultimate goal of any backyard garden enthusiast to a large scale farmer. When this balance has been achieved, you are able to express your creative growing power and the vegetation is able to express its natural state of optimum growth.

More positive expression leads to better nutritive vegetation. Adding specific mycorrhizal fungi and microbes to your space or have an experimental section would enhance your skill and benefit your soil and vegetation. You are growing microbes and fungi, WELL DONE!!
